LAS VEGAS, Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ – Rock in the new year with Fremont Street Experience’s Downtown Countdown New Year’s Eve 2013 celebration filled with nonstop entertainment.  On Monday, Dec. 31 from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. the ultimate New Year’s Eve street party will feature co-headliners Buckcherry & Queensryche, plus special guests Quiet Riot, Pop Evil & Otherwise.  The party lasts all night with performances from six other incredible bands, in addition to local favorites Yellow Brick Road & Zowie Bowie as well as Jizzy Pearl, Rok of Ages, Party Rockers & Brazen.


Downtown Countdown will moreover contain a 2012 year-in-review retrospective on the Viva Vision screen, a midnight countdown led by Las Vegas NV Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman & an epic Fireworks by Grucci produced show synchronized with virtual fireworks on Viva Vision as part of the citywide celebration, “America’s Party: Las Vegas NV New Year’s 2013.” 

Additionally, TributePalooza is back for the fifth year, kicking off the three-day party  with two nights of free entertainment on Saturday, Dec. 29 & Sunday, Dec. 30.  TributePalooza will feature some of the best tribute bands from across the country, paying homage to the Rolling Stones, U2, Van Halen, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard & No Doubt.
