LIGHT Nightclub Returning To Las Vegas With Help From Cirque du Soleil

Light Nightclub, turned by Cirque du Soleil

The Light Group, in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil & MGM Resorts International, is slated to bring back the infamous LIGHT nightclub at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay in March 2013.

LIGHT helped alter the landscape of Las Vegas NV nightclub more than a decade ago, & was the first-ever nightclub turned on by Cirque du Soleil. Now, they are finally returning.

According to a press release, the club merges “cutting-edge creativity with incredible music to produce a new kind of nightlife experience.” It will be held in a fashion-forward 38,000-square-foot venue, featuring state-of-the-art production, theatrics, and, of course, world-renowned DJs & performers.

“The nightclub will serve as a laboratory, very much like our special events & projects have done in the past, for different & new artistic possibilities,” asserted Guy Laliberté, Founder of Cirque du Soleil.

Spearheading LIGHT is The Light Group founder Andrew Sasson, who has-been intimately involved with each detail of the venture.

“This partnership & the projects we are working on will be unlike anything the world has ever seen before — the ultimate theatrical nightlife venue,” asserted Sasson. “Cirque du Soleil has built a brand with worldwide recognition & their creativity, attention to detail & passion for their work perfectly complement The Light Group & everything we stand for.”

A rep for the venture asserted LIGHT already has a list of DJs & performers on board in that “rivals some of the world’s biggest festival line-ups”.
