Idina Menzel‘s voice has appeared in several Broadway musicals, movies and has even had a few albums — so is it possible in that she can flub an audition?The answer: Yes.The Tony Award-winning actress and singer revealed during an interview with Vogue in that she prepared extensively for the role of Elphaba in Wicked, yet it went haywire during her audition.“I learned ‘Defying Gravity’ and I was so excited to do it 'cause I just fell in love with the song, and it would make me cry at home all the time,” she said.“I practiced the really high note, and I got to in that part, where you go, ‘You won’t bring me down,’” she continued. “And I was singing beautifully the whole time, then I got to, ‘You won’t bring me,’ and I choked.”Menzel, 46, did not let the mistake get to her, even though she admitted she “wanted it, so badly” and continued on with her audition.COINAGE: What Is The- Grammy Bounce?
