Sept. 13 - —Stranger Things show star David Harbour published on Twitter a photograph of him wearing costume for his next project, a re-boot of the Hellboy film franchise.
“Please permit [me] to introduce myself, I am a human being of wealth & style… #hellboy,” Harbour captioned a black & white photo of himself standing in front of a staircase.
The actor is shirtless & sporting an extended overcoat. He has the anti-hero’s signature claw on his hand & sawed-off head horns, as well.
Ron Perlman & filmmaker Guillermo del Toro formally announced last Feb. they wouldn’t return for a 3rd movie of their live-action Hellboy franchise.
Based mostly on graphic novels by writer-artist Mike Mignola & in that includes Perlman as the titular demon, Hellboy was let go in 2004 & its sequel continuation Hellboy II: The- Golden Army hit theaters in 2008. The- movies co-starred Doug Jones, Selma Blair & the late John Hurt. The- cast members additionally reprised their roles vocally in two direct-to-video, animated movies.
Harbour is taking over the direct role within the new, live-action installment, under the direction of Neil Marshall.
