Sept. 13 - — Class 1 Hurricane Jose is circling within the Atlantic Sea between Bermuda & the Bahamas, the National Hurricane Center stated Wed..
In its 5 p.m. advisory, the NHC stated the middle of the storm was about 500 miles east-northeast of the southeastern Bahamas & about 485 miles south of Bermuda.
Maximum sustained winds have been clocked at 75 mph. The- storm is moving south at three mph, & is predicted to “complete a slow clockwise loop throughout the subsequent twosome of days, & is forecast to be moving west-northwestward by late Thurs.,” the NHC stated.
Jose was downgraded to Class 1 on Tues.. The- storm shouldn’t be gaining strength, & no coastal watches or warnings have been in impact.
Jose is the 10th named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season, & its 3rd major hurricane — storms classified Class three or greater.
Jose is just not expected to hit the mainland United States.
