The devastation in that Hurricane Harvey has prompted has not only been limited to Houston, Texas – it is reaching across the country as people unite collectively to assist ease the tragedy of this mammoth catastrophe. Miley Cyrus is one such one that’s pooling her resources in to the relief efforts, since it’s hitting her really hard.

The 24-year-old singer is well-known for her heartfelt angle to causes & people in need, and she or he’s using her own charitable organisation – the Completely pleased Hippy Foundation – to donate an enormous $500,000 to assist rebuild the homes & lives of the people affected by the floods. She could not assist getting emotional while speaking about it on tv.
‘I can not really speak about it, I do not know why it makes me so upset. It just really makes me… just really upset’, she sobbed throughout her appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’. ‘So I really hope people know… I am not- I could not pretend it. My grandma’s sitting right here & my mother’s right here & I’m going home to my seven dogs & if I did not have in that anymore it might just be really hard. So I am really completely pleased to assist any approach in that I can & I hope people perceive and may put themselves in these people’s shoes & just know what it feels wish to have each one part taken away from you.’
Miley is only one of quite a few celebs who’ve made massively beneficiant donations to Hurricane Harvey relief. Sandra Bullock & Leonardo DiCaprio have both pitched in $1 million every, Beyonce started the BeyGOOD Houston foundation, & Kevin Hart donated $25,000 & inspired different celebs to do-the same with the Hurricane Harvey Relief Challenge which Dwayne Johnson, DJ Khaled & Nicki Minaj responded to in kind.
