Sept. 2 - — Director Ron Howard states Paul Bettany has joined the ensemble of his upcoming Han Solo standalone movie.
This marks the 3rd time Howard is working with the British actor after A Lovely Mind & The Da Vinci Code.
“The Outer Rim just got slightly bit wilder #PaulBettany #ForceFriday,” Howard captioned a photograph he twittered of him & a costumed Bettany on the set of the as-yet-unnamed Han Solo movie, which is a component of the Show star Wars franchise & set for release May 25.
Howard provided no details about Bettany’s character.
Actor & filmmaker Seth Rogen commented on the photo on Twitter, writing, “If he is just visiting he dresses humorous.”
“He was fantastic in A Lovely Mind,” remarked journalist Alex Hill in his own Twitter post.
“It is my 3rd alternative to work with Paul. He is a blast & so gifted,” Howard replied to Hill.
Lucasfilm stated in Jun. co-directors Phil Lord & Chris Miller had left the Show star Wars spinoff, 4 many months in to production, on account of artistic variations.
The movie is an origin tale for the long-lasting smuggler Harrison Ford played in 4 blockbusters. Alden Ehrenreich will play the younger version of the character. The- brand new illustration will co star Donald Glover, Joonas Suotamo, Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Thandie Newton & Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
