Bob Seger is suspending his remaining 2017 tour dates due to an “pressing medical challenge regarding his vertebrae,” his team formally announced Tues..
The Detroit rocker, 72, had 18 dates left on his schedule, running via Nov. 17.
Tues.’s announcement follows the cancellation of his Sat. show in Columbus, attributed to a pinched nerve.
Shows will probably be rescheduled, Seger’s camp states, & existing tickets shall be honored for these dates.
Ticket holders may moreover get refunds from their point of purchase.
â€œIâ€™m so disillusioned to have to suspend the tour as the band is on an impressive roll,” Seger stated in a press release. “Itâ€™s a privilege to play for our superb fans. Hoping to be back out on the street very soon.â€�
Seger & the Silver Bullet Band had started off their newest spherical of touring Aug. 24 in Toledo & had played 13 dates up to now.
Many stops on this tour have been billed as Seger’s ultimate shows at the respective venues.
