Jason Aldean, the country music superstar who was performing when a gunman opened fire in Las Vegas on Sun. night, has canceled his next three concerts “out of respect for the victims, their families & our fans.”
“It has-been an emotional time for everybody involved this current week, so we plan to take a while to mourn those we have now lost & be close with our family & buddies,” Aldean stated Tues. night in a press release on Twitter.
Aldean was belting out hits at the Route 91 Harvest festival on Sun. night when the lone gunman, Stephen Craig Paddock, sprayed the gang of some 22,000 fans with a barrage of bullets for 9 minutes, killing no less than 59 people & injuring at the very least 500 others.
Aldean, who was slated to perform three shows this current weekend in Southern Calif., stated he plans to renew his tour on Oct. 12 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
“Our 1st time back onstage shall be a really robust & emotional thing for us, still we’ll all get via it collectively & honor the people we lost by doing the one thing we all know how one can do â€” play our songs for them,” Aldean stated.

He thanked his buddies & fans for “the outpouring of love.”
“You guys do not know how much you’ve gotten helped get us by means of this robust time,” he stated.
