Tony Dimitriades, the band supervisor, formally announced the singerâ€™s death in a press release. The- legendary singer was reportedly present in cardiac arrest on Sun. at his home in Malibu, Calif.
Petty was taken to UCLA Medical Center still couldn’t be revived, Dimitriades stated. He died at 11:30 p.m.
