An influence outage left Garth Brooks’ fans briefly at the hours of darkness for his last performance after a three-night stop at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.The outage took place just before eight p.m. Sun. while a warm-up act was on the stage. Fans sang Brooks’ song, “Buddies in Low Places” while they waited for the lights to return back on.The Prudential Center wrote on social media “At roughly 7:50 p.m. tonight, Prudential Center skilled a quick power outage. Power was quickly restored & tonightâ€™s performance is continuing as scheduled.”Public Service Electrical & Fuel is investigating what prompted the outage.The Related Press contributed to this report.
