Daniel Kaluuya starred in the Marvel movie Black Panther and now he’s playing a real-life Black Panther in the upcoming movie Judas and the Black Messiah.
The Oscar-nominated actor is playing Fred Hampton, the chairman of the Black Panther party, in the film that follows his betrayal and assassination.
LaKeith Stanfield, who starred alongside Daniel in Get Out, once again joins him in this movie, which also stars Jesse Plemons, Dominique Fishback, Ashton Sanders, and Martin Sheen.
Here is the synopsis: Chairman Fred Hampton (Kaluuya) was 21 years old when he was assassinated by the FBI, who coerced a petty criminal named William O’Neal (Stanfield) to help them silence him and the Black Panther Party. But they could not kill Fred Hampton’s legacy and, 50 years later, his words still echo… louder than ever.
