The 54-year-old actress previously defended the 21-year age gap between the two of them in an interview last year.
Helena plays Princess Margaret on The Crown and she compared her own relationship to Margaret’s relationship with Roddy Llewellyn, who was 17 years younger than her.
“It was odd timing that I seem to have a similar age gap as her, she said,” Helena told The Times last year. “Everybody ages at a different rate. My boyfriend is unbelievably mature. He’s an old soul in a young body, what more could I want?”

“I can’t say much about Rye, because he’s a psychoanalyst so he needs his anonymity,” Helena told The Guardian in a new interview. “He’s magic, and that’s all I’m going to say. In the same interview, Helena spoke out in support of a famous friend who is going through a hard time.
