According to Variety, the 41-year-old reality star alleges that he was wrongfully terminated from the upcoming fourth installment of the film franchise.

Bam was fired from the Jackass movie last fall after violating the terms of a “wellness agreement” he signed with the film’s producers after allegedly testing positive for Adderall.
The suit claims that he was coerced into signing the agreement by Spike Jonze, director Jeffrey Tremaine and Johnny Knoxville during a visit to rehab in 2019.
It required regular drug and alcohol tests as well as a prescription medication regime, and according to the suit Bam claims he was not given a chance to run it by an attorney before signing it.
The court documents suggest Bam was let go after testing positive for Adderall, despite having had a prescription to Adderall for 10 years. The suit also compares the former MTV star’s treatment to Britney Spears‘ conservatorship case.
“Paramount’s inhumane treatment of Margera cannot be countenanced,” the filings state. “Margera was made to endure psychological torture in the form of a sham Wellness Agreement, and then ultimately terminated for his protected class status due to his medical condition, and his complaints about Defendants’ discriminatory conduct towards him.”
The suit also alleges that Jackass Forever incorporates many of Bam‘s contributions, which is similar to what he said in February 2021 when he called for fans to boycott the film.
Jackass Forever will open in theaters on October 22 and you can check out the trailer for the new movie here.
