Glennon Doyle‘s best-selling memoir “Untamed” is going to be adapted into a television series by J.J. Abrams‘ production company Bad Robot!
Deadline reports the Jessie Nelson, who is the showrunner for the Apple TV+ series Little Voice, will be executive producing the project alongside Doyle and Bad Robot’s Ben Stephenson.
The book “explores the joy and peace we discover when we stop striving to meet the expectations of the world, and start trusting the voice deep within us.” It was written after Doyle married soccer star Abby Wambach.
Doyle previously released the memoir “Love Warrior,” which was an Oprah’s Book Club selection. “Untamed” was chosen as a Reese’s Book Club selection and Reese Witherspoon said that the memoir is “packed with incredible insight about what it means to be a woman today.”
In a statement about the project, Doyle said, “I can’t imagine a more important time or more perfect partners than Jessie Nelson and Bad Robot to help bring my story, our collective story, to television.”
