Isabelle Fuhrman will be reprising her role as Esther in the upcoming prequel to the 2009 horror movie Orphan.
SPOILER ALERT – In the first movie, Isabelle played an Easter European child who was adopted by parents who were overcoming the loss of a child. The big twist in the movie was that she wasn’t actually a child. She was an an adult woman with primordial dwarfism who was pretending to be a nine-year-old and she tried to split her new parents apart to have the dad all to herself.
Nothing is known yet about the plot of the upcoming prequel, but Variety reports that Isabelle is attached as the star and associate producer.
The movie will be directed by The Boy and The Devil Inside director William Bent Bell with a screenplay by David Coggeshall, a writer on the Scream TV series.
