    Aeromexico August 2024 Traffic Results


    MEXICO CITY, Sept. 6, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (“Aeromexico”) reports its August 2024 operational results:

    • Grupo Aeromexico transported 2 million and 296 thousand passengers in August 2024, a 1.1% year-over-year decrease. International passengers increased by 10.4%, while domestic passengers decreased by 5.9%.
    • Aeromexico’s total capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASKs), increased by 7.9% year-over-year. International ASKs increased by 13.3%, while domestic capacity decreased by 2.0% year-over-year.
    • Demand, measured in passenger-kilometers (RPKs), increased by 8.5% year-over-year. International demand increased by 14.6%, while domestic demand decreased by 3.0%, both figures compared to August 2023.
    • Aeromexico’s August 2024 load factor was 88.2%, a 0.5 p.p. increase as compared to August 2023. International load factor increased by 1.0 p.p. and domestic load factor decreased by 0.9 p.p.
