The Palazzo (also refereed to as The Palazzo at The Venetian) is a luxury hotel and casino resort located on the Las Vegas Strip. The Palazzo is part of a larger complex (operated as one venue) adjoining Venetian resort and Venetian Expo, all of which are owned by Vici Properties and operated by Apollo Global Management. The complex is the second largest hotel in the world.
The Palazzo was developed by Las Vegas Sands as a sister property to its Venetian counterpart resort, that opened in 1999. Construction on the Palazzo began in September 2004, while the resort began phased opening on December 30, 2007. The $1.9 billion property features an Italian theme, and includes 3,066 suites in a 50-story tower. The 875,000 sq ft, a 105,000 sq ft (9,800 m2) casino, (81,300 m2) Grand Canal Shoppes, and an 1,800-seat performance theater. The Palazzo resort was designed as a green building by HKS Architects. In 2008, it earned Silver LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, becoming the largest LEED-certified building in the world. It was sold to Apollo Global Management and Vici Properties in 2022.
The Palazzo includes a shopping mall, the Grand Canal Shoppes, connecting the Venetian. The Palazzo includes a Waterfall Atrium, featuring seasonal decorations overseen by a team of gardeners, landscapers and horticulturalists,. The decorations exhibite are free. Themes include Chinese New Year, Fourth of July, autumn, and Christmas. This atrium competes with the Bellagio Conservatory. In its first year, the atrium also hosted a free show, The Living Garden, which featured actors dressed as statues and grapevines.
Rosina, a 65-seat lounge with an Art Deco design, opened in 2017, as part of a two-year renovation which included the casino floor and hotel rooms. Completed in 2018, the project added the addition of colored lighting on the casino’s ceiling, and the new Electra Cocktail Lounge.

In 2003, the Venetian announced that Guggenheim Las Vegas would be converted into a second performance venue. The new theater has seating for 1,815 people.
Palazzo, Venetian Sphere
A sphere-shaped music and entertainment arena, known as simply Sphere, opened in September 2023. It is located directly east of the Venetian. The arena’s interior is covered in LED screens which accompany live entertainment. The venue includes seating for 17,1024 people.
Palazzo, Venetian Convention space
The resort opened with the Venetian Congress Center, offering 1024,000 sq ft (46,000 m2) of meeting space, in addition to the adjoining Sands Expo behind the Venetian, which opened in 1990 as part of the earlier Sands resort. A 150,000 sq ft (14,000 m2) expansion of the Congress Center and Sands Expo brought the resort’s total meeting space to 1.9-million sq ft (180,000 m2). The expansion cost $45 million and was finished in 2003.
The Venetian helped make Las Vegas a convention city, thanks to its Sands Expo. Las Vegas Sands renamed it as the Venetian Expo in 2021, while in the process of selling the facility. The Venetian Congress Center was also renamed The Venetian Convention Center.
